Overview

The Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) is Australia’s national, government-owned digital tourism platform that aggregates, quality-assures and distributes tourism content from more than 50,000 businesses across all states and territories, ensuring tourism operators are visible to millions of potential visitors via hundreds of trusted tourism distributors. ATDW functions as critical industry infrastructure, providing a single source of quality, structured and trusted product content that powers consumer sites such as australia.com and state and regional tourism portals.

Through a one‑to‑many distribution model and APIs, ATDW enables operators to maintain one listing that syndicates across multiple digital channels, driving exposure, leads and direct bookings while supporting data-driven marketing, destination development and a more resilient, competitive Australian visitor economy.

ATDW benefits tourism operators by providing a cost-effective solution to increasing their digital distribution and online exposure, and provides travel distributors with rich, flexible content in a central database to easily populate their websites. ATDW also plays an important role in industry education, helping tourism operators make the most of online opportunities and allowing them to attract and facilitate more online bookings.

The company’s vision is to make every Australian tourism experience a visible choice for the world’s travellers. Its mission is to be the trusted foundation of a future fit digital tourism ecosystem, powered by a smart, adaptable and accessible platform grounded in national data insights, keeping Australian tourism visible and competitive.
