About the Role
Chief Executive Officer
The CEO provides strategic, operational, and cultural leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality services aligned with the organisation’s mission, vision, and values. The CEO works closely with the Non-Executive Director and Independent Advisory Chair to implement the strategic plan, maintain financial sustainability, ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, and strengthen partnerships within the community and sector.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Lead the execution of the strategic plan.
Identify emerging opportunities and risks in the NDIS, NIISQ, HSQF and allied health landscapes.
Champion the organisation by promoting and positioning Well Life across industry.
Report updates to the Board regarding progress on strategic goals.
Foster a Christian values-based culture through innovation, growth, and continuous improvement.
Operational Management
Establish clear priorities and plans to operationalise Well Life’s strategy.
Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
Drive organisational performance, ensuring quality standards are met and exceeded.
Develop and maintain policies and processes that support robust governance and compliance.
Financial
Ensure financial viability through effective budgeting, forecasting, and financial management.
Monitor financial performance and report to the Board on outcomes and sustainability.
Drive growth, profitability and organisational value.
Governance, Risk Management, Quality and Compliance
Maintain accreditation and compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, HSQF, and other relevant regulations.
Champion quality improvement initiatives and a culture of safety and excellence.
Respond proactively to audits, reviews, and service evaluations.
Oversee risk management frameworks, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of clients, staff, and stakeholders.
Stakeholder Engagement and Advocacy
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, carers, government agencies, funders, and community partners.
Act as the public face and advocate of the organisation, promoting its services and impact.

People and Culture Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing leadership team.
Promote an inclusive, values-driven organisational culture that prioritises staff wellbeing and professional growth.
Support workforce planning and strategies to attract, develop, and retain skilled staff.
Key Selection Criteria
Proven executive leadership experience in community services, disability, or health sectors.
Demonstrated understanding of NDIS, NIISQ, allied health service delivery, and HSQF standards.
Experience working within a governance framework and reporting to boards.
Strong strategic and financial management capabilities.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead organisational change and continuous improvement.
Deep commitment to person-centred approaches, human rights, and quality service delivery.
Postgraduate qualifications in business, health administration, community services, or a related field.
Proven advocacy experience in influencing sector policy and reform.
